GUESS WHAT????

It's official...I'm a new member of Passion for Promarkers Design Team. It's no joke how i love my promarkers and it's a honour to show people some of my creations using these great markers. I will be participating in their Celebration post in Dec but my term does not start till Jan.

I just feel so special to be picked among some very talented ladies. The talent in this world of blogland is amazing. Thank you so much Denise and Gina for giving me this opportunity. I can't wait to join you all..

Christmas Gift Card Holder...

Thanks all for those who supported me in purchasing my stamps during the last few days. I truly appreciate all that you have done to keep my dream alive. Here is a gift card holder that i made using Krista's Smiths digi which i colored with promarkers. Inside is a little section to slide your gift card in. I forgot to take a picture of that...what was i thinking....ha ha.. Added one of my crochet flowers, a charm and a Christmas bulb for some added bling. I even through in some cheese cloth for some texture. I used digital paper from

that you can purchase for 2.00... this is a 20 pack of designer paper. I just love having digital papers as it makes it so easy to make multiple cards, and never having to worry about running out of paper. Shery's papers are very crisp and they print out great. Oh my, i almost didn't make this post today. It's one in the morning and I'm just finishing up...I'm in the midst of making a wedding cake...how on earth did i get roped into that you ask???? Long story...hoping i complete it tomorrow. Any hoo.....here is my card for this week. I had such fun coloring this image from Sheryl. This is one of her new releases. How super cute, don't you agree. I colored with promarkers and used both JUSTWORDZ new releases...On the front i used the Christmas Season and for the inside i used Party Time. Pssst....don't tell anyone but i mucked up the paper a little on the inside...hoping to fix tomorrow.

What i got myself into this time!!!

Hey Gang, thanks for dropping by. I'm just here to share with you all what I've been making this past weekend. I saw these at a local craft show and the girl didn't have the size i needed for my granddaughter. I even asked if i could order one as she told me she was from North Bay...i couldn't believe what she told me...get this. It's a local craft show in Ontario Canada, and she gets ladies from USA to make them for her and she sells them..so my way of thinking is she is purchasing them and reselling at a craft show...What nerve. She was totally cheating the ladies who have knitting tables and everyone else...as she was the busiest table there. I'm not complaining because she did so well, i hope that for everyone but to buy and resell.....not cool...

Well enough grumbling, hope you like as they are not perfect but i hope one of them fits my sweet Avery. I had to guess at sizing as she lives 4 hours away...My hubby says the Elmo should have round ball eyes but i did them different...oh well I'll know for next time. Pattern was purchased here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/Simply2Irresistible?page=2 at a fabulous price of 2.99 each and i couldn't just purchase one i got the 5 for 10.00....i never can just stop at one:0) Elmo was made using her hat pattern and i just winged the eyes and nose...

Super cute image from Krista Smith that i colored with promarkers. I just love how this one turned out. I just want to sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...I love the color combo for this one. My Niece thinks it's a sad image but i love the sweetness of it. What do you think???? Added a die cut for the flower and that's about all. Very simple embellishing but for a good reason... No sentiments again as i will leave that up to the giver. Hi Gang...welcome to JUSTWORDZ. Here is another Krista Smith image that i just love. Such a crazy fun image for just about any occasion. This is one card from a set of 6 that i made to put in a assortment package. I didn't add any sentiment as i think people will have more flexibility in using them for many occasions. I colored her in promarkers, did a little dry embossing and that sums this one up. Very simple but will go in the everyday mail without extra postage or getting damaged by the postal machinery. Let's honour our Troops....This is a Day for Remembrance!


Well today is Remembrance Day in Canada and i thought i would show my gratitude by creating a couple cards to mark the occasion. Here is a pre-colored image from Sheryl Brown, have you ever seen a more detailed colored image around. I just love how she did the eye shadow, and the shading is perfect...super fast to put together and i used my JUSTWORDZ Party Time stamp set for the sentiment. But she didn't stop there, she made a matching one for us Canadians....SWEET!!



This one i colored up with promarkers, made a simple flag background and added some buttons. Used JUSTWORDZ Everyday Sentiment stamp set.

WEAR A POPPY THIS NOVEMBER 11......

You think you have seen it before.....BUT WAIT!!!

I'm sure you have seen this all over blogland over the past few weeks...I really wanted to try a digital scrapbooking software and this one looked very interesting. So instead of jumping right in i decided to call the company and talk to someone about this program. I have to say they were very helpful, polite and truly knew their product. So after my conversation i jumped right on board and just had to start playing....Here are a couple layouts i did.
DID YOU KNOW????? you can use any elements you might have already...I totally used my digital paper from sherykdesigns and some clip art as well. This is going to be perfect as a card for my grandbaby...she loves elmo!!! The only thing on this layout that was from My Memories Suite is the snowflakes and the boarder...HOW fantastic is THAT?? Not that i don't love their elements and paper but to be able to use my stash too, is so great.

I thought for sure you had to use only their elements and paper...what a pleasant surprise finding out i can use what i have with their elements to make fabulous layouts. After taking a tour of http://www.mymemories.com/ i realize i can add a bunch of freebies as well. They have 92 freebies currently. You just can't go wrong, with the extras they are giving you. Just look under free downloads and see what you get for FREE!!!!

This is my second layout using a colored image by Dustin Pike. All elements are from My Memories Digital Software. I just think this is a fantastic layout. I can't say enough about how nice it is to play around with papers and elements to get just the right look. Easy to fix if need be and move things around. If you haven't had a chance to try this Scrapbook Software you may be in luck...

NEW RELEASE...BLOG HOP! TODAY....come on down.

Welcome to the JUSTWORDZ second blog hop. We have some exciting things happening today and i hope you join in on the fun. We have a new artist in town and she happens to be my niece Sheryl Brown. I love how she creates the most fabulous digital stamps to share with my friends on blogland. I wish i could draw:0) We also have two new sets of photopolymer stamps to show off. Christmas Season which happens to be my favorite and Party Time for any occasion you might have. Lets get started in showing you the two new sets. These are high quality stamps that are durable and have so many possibilities for sentiments you loose count. My new design team will be with us each Friday to show you how versatile these are. Now here is some inspiration for all you die hard crafters. What a line up i have today, these girls made me so proud by accepting this position on the JUSTWORDZ design team. As my team is small I've invited a couple ladies to be guests on this hop. It's still a small lineup so i hope you hop through to see what great talent there is. I also have my first challenge going on this week. I'll give you two weeks to complete, and link up. More details at the end of this post with a list of candy up for grabs.. Lets get started. First up is...ME!

This is one of my favorites...i was short on time so like any good crafter....i snagged this precolored image from Sheryl's Collection..isn't it the most darling image...I printed this on Photo paper with my inkjet printer...It turned out fantastic. I also printed it on card stock which also looks great just a little darker. Used my dies, and JUSTWORDZ Party Time stamp set with a little blue glitter embossing. I loved how it turned out and can't wait to give this card to a wonderful mom to be.

Another great image by Sheryl Brown...Diva girl.. Colored with promarkers and uses Sherykdesigns papers. This is my favorite paper pack so far...which is called Vintage Blue Damask and can be purchased here: http://www.sherykdesigns.com/shop/all-products/vintage-blue-damask/prod_80.html for 1.50. What a great deal for 10 fantastic designer papers. I also used JUSTWORDZ Pary Time stamp set to complete this card with a few embellishments.
