Hey all, i just spent a couple days celebrating my granddaughters 3rd birthday..Wow is has just grown up too fast...had a fabulous time but man the drive is a killer.

On to my card to showcase one of Betty's adorable images. Given to us for this fun challenge.

Create a Background..Let's have a look.

 

I coloured this one with promarkers and did a background 3 times...Ooohhhhh how frustrating this was. I tried to make it look like fairy dust and had a major fail there. Had to fussy cut her out and decided on embossing and adding some stickles to the raised part to add glitter. I tell you i don't think i'll do this again..it was wayyy out of my comfort zone. I coloured a super cute image from Bugaboo that sure fits the bill.

I used my promarkers for this little guy and wanted to add a little interest with some balloons..Now i didn't have a die cut for balloons but i managed to use a Christmas ball for the same effect. Not perfect but i think it's ok. Who couldn't smile when they see this little guy..super cute image and i had a carnival theme in mind with this card. Every summer we go by the carnival and see all the games, colours and fun had by all the children..Thanks so much for dropping by and will see you again real soon..take care.

You can't believe how wonderful that makes me feel..I think i'm going to have to have a celebration very very soon. I'm almost at 1000 subscribers to my youtube channel too..I feel so so blessed.

I'm on holidays in a couple weeks and i'll put together a nice prize pack or two for a little thank you for all your lovely comments and support throughout the last couple years..so keep checking in for that chance to win..

 

On to my card. Here i have a Saturated Canary image that was needed for a commission card. A super smart little gal graduated from grade 8.

 

 

Coloured this one with promarkers again and just had to add some of this funky trendy twine..I just love this colour combo. Have you seen the new yellow black twine...super fine..Handmade a little graduation hat and added some stickers for the u did it..super simple but cute i think. Hey all welcome back..I'm showcasing another Redonkadoodle image that i haven't coloured too often. We are so close to July 1, Canada Day i thought i would colour this one up. Redonkadoodles also has the American version and a British version too. I'm ready to celebrate in style this yr. I will be in our Capital city this July 1st and hope to enjoy some festivities while i'm there celebrating my granddaughter's 3rd birthday..Wow i just can't believe how the time has flown by..3 already..

This one was super easy to colour up and all i did was use a layout sheet scaled down for my card size and added a couple leaves and a brad..Fussy cut the image and that finished it off. I did add some glitter pen to all the highlights on the leaves but it's very hard to see with my pictures..Take my word for it, it shimmies in the light. Very very simple but the paper has so much movement i didn't want to add more. Hope you like and thanks so much for dropping by. You are all the greatest..

Hey all, i have another card to show you all. This one is for my co-workers dad who is a advid gardener. We see his efforts each year when all the tomatoes start arriving. Let's have a look..

This image is from Mo Manning and is perfect for this male card. I did slim him a bit as the recipient is tall and slim. I was worried at first how i was going to make this one but i couldn't believe i had such luck and finding these tools in my stash. Coloured with promarkers as usual. The super cute seed packages i found by just googling seed packages and i folded them up and made the little packs...super cute and fun for this card. Added a couple lady bugs and the age and there you have it..

Hey all, well i'm back with the living..i had my super sweet granddaughter for a week and i survived...yipee. We had so much fun, laughs, great times...oh how i wish i could see her more. I do have to admit i crashed after she left..and had to go to work for a rest..ha ha

Any hoo, i want to show you the most fabulous new image from Redonkadoodles. Oh i loved colouring this one up and she would be great for many occasions. Someone who loves to dance, prom, wedding with the other option Sheryl has generously given with the purchase of this image, so you get two for the price of one...use your imagination on this one..

I coloured her up with promarkers and did use one flexmarker. Yes i will have a tutorial with this one. I hope to have it up and running by the end of the weekend. Used a few die cuts, made the sentiment on my computer and used my Party Time stamp set for the Celebration stamp. Super simple design as usual. Redonkadoodles Day!!

Hey all, i hope your enjoying your day. I'm just popping in for a quick post to showcase a Redonkadoodles image. I have my granddaughter with me this week and have been very very busy..i forgot what chasing a three yr old was like..ha ha..I'm having a blast though.

I'm sitting here at midnight finishing this post and i dread getting up at 6am tomorrow..She is a early riser that's for sure..On to my card..one of my favourite images..

Did you all notice how pale this one is coloured...I think it's my first ever lightly coloured image. I just had to add a little pop with the present and the eyes..Used my promarkers and used some stickers that came with the paper kit. I added a little ribbon, pearls and decided after my picture was taken to use some washi tape..not sure if i like it better with or without..what do you all think??

Hey all i've got another card to show you all today featuring a Redonkadoodle digital image. I just love this one. I've coloured her up a few times as she is totally fab..

Hippie Chick...

 

 

This one is coloured with promarkers and flexmarkers. The top and pants were done with flexmarkers. I'm using them a little bit more it seems. Added a few elements including one of my new buttons...  What do you all think of it..A couple die cuts, with a little charm and ribbon and it's all done. I just love this paper..i've been so excited to use it up. I think it goes great with this image. I wish i coloured the pants a little darker as the top turned out a deeper colour then i intended but it is what it is...Many thanks for dropping by and don't forget to check out all the fabulous images at Redonkadoodles...

Men's Card...cheer UP!!

Hey everyone..just a real quick post showing you all my male card i made for a co-worker to cheer him up...It was quite difficult to figure out a image, but i figured since dogs are men's best friend i couldn't go wrong with this one..How can you not smile when you see this image..

I've coloured this image no less than 4 times already..great image for dog lovers and in this case a cheer up card...Coloured with promarkers, and added very little embellishment as it's for a male. A few staples here and there to add a little hardware and did the sentiment on my computer. Stamp is from MFT. Super simple..just the way i like it..
