Well can you believe I finally have a post. I thought I was way ahead of the game for the Christmas Season and as you can tell I was a big fail....

Between craft sales, my own shopping, helping my Mom get ready for the busy season, there just wasn't enough hours in the day.

But I managed to get another Christmas card done and I think it may be my last for this year. Now if I can only get them addressed and posted..maybe this weekend..i can always hope..ha ha

I just love this image. The look on her face is priceless. I coloured her with promarkers but for the browns I used copics. I'm trying to get used to using them. There's going to be a learning curve for these for sure. They tend to blend a little different than I'm used to. But the overall look is ok i think. Can you see the fabulous shimmer on the present. On a youtube followers advice I found some Wink of Stella that works so nice. I will be using it again for sure.

Hey gang, i'm still alive..ha ha

I've been so busy lately with my craft sales that I've neglected you all. I'm so sorry about that. But now that my sales are done, i'm almost back to normal. Or so I think!!!

Christmas is just around the corner. I've got a few things to get still and I wanted to do a super cute advent calendar for my granddaughter but as usual i'm way behind.

Today though I managed to get a simple card done for my daughters upcoming birthday, in three days that is. She is turning 31 and is moving forward to a complete recovery from her ordeal.

This birthday i'm just giving her some spending money to purchase something for herself. No guilt just crazy spending..

So this image of Redonkadoodles is just perfect

Coloured with promarkers with the pinks done in copics. Very little embellishments as I sized the image a little too big which left me no room to add much more. But i'm sure my daughter will love it anyway. Thanks for popping in and have a fabulous crafting day..

Hey all, i'm here again to show you the same image as last week..i know I know you must get tired of seeing the same old thing from me. But I keep getting commission cards, and the customers want this image. It's just so darn cute, how could you not love it...With craft season upon me I just didn't have time to do another card this week.

Funny Face

 

This image has been coloured mainly with copics. Hair and dress done with copics with a little orange and blue thrown in with my promarkers. As you can see my customer wanted glasses on this image so I just took a small button, traced around it with pencil and then took a liner pen to colour them black. I did add some glossy accents to the glasses for that realistic feel. Used a few die cuts for the numbers and letters and with a little ribbon, bling and all is done. Thanks so much for dropping by again this week and I promise to show you something different next week...

Thanks for joining me today. I finally managed to get some time to post a new card for you all. Last week was a gong show and I just ran out of time. One craft show down one to go. I'm afraid I did pretty well and i'm going to be short items for my second sale. Hopefully next year I will be more prepared and have things done before two weeks prior to a big sale..ha ha. Don't tell anyone but I say that every year, and I'm still in the same boat..

I know you have seen this image coloured by me many times but they were all sold and I needed one for my upcoming sale so I hope I don't bore you all with this one. It's still one of my favourites.

I love this colour combo, I've used it many times in the last little while. This image was coloured with promarkers and I did the hair with copics..My first copic attempt doing hair..not too bad I think. Just added a couple elements and there you have it..super simple of course.

Hey all, thanks for dropping by for another day to showcase Redonkadoodles images. I hope all you Canadians enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. We had such a surprise when we went to a thanksgiving dinner and ended up witnessing a beautiful wedding..No one knew, and that was how they wanted it... on the other hand it felt wrong being there in jeans and a t-shirt..but it was fabulous. 

It's with a sad heart we also lost a loved one this weekend as well.. My sister in-law will be missed deeply and i hope she is at peace with her son who she lost a few years ago to the same desease that took her life. So as i was crazy busy getting things organized for the trip south i won't be able to post a new card today. I did however manage to edit a video for you all who enjoy watching colouring tutorials. I'm hoping things will be back to normal next week so i hope to see you all then....

Hey hey, are all of you in a panic like myself, wondering how we are going to finish all those Christmas cards on time..I think I've only done 2 so far and I have to send out at least 40.

As well as making some for my upcoming craft sales. Boy oh boy am I in trouble.

Any hoot, I have one of my favourite images from Redonkadoodles to show you all today.

Don't you all just love this adorable image. It makes me smile every time I see it. Coloured with promarkers and yes I will have a colouring tutorial on this one. It is long but most of you don't seem to mind. However I've been trying to load a video for two weeks now and for some reason it just fails every time. I don't know what's wrong. Hoping I can get it and this one uploaded sometime in the near future. I also have a quick video showing you all how I cut around this image with a die cut that doesn't quite fit. Again will be uploaded when I get the other two done. I did add some glitter to the white around the coat and Santa's hat to give a little glitter. And to finish it off I added a 36 Shades of Flair button. Perfect for this card. I hope you can come for a visit to my small shop to see all the new releases of Flair. I decided on this one to try and motivate me in the right direction on the diet front. Secretly this is what i'm going to look like in my next lifetime..ha ha

This is a perfect image to use on a card to give to a friend who has had some success. Or just to show that you care and notice their positive changes they may be making..

I coloured this one with promarkers late into the night, as I end up getting things done at the last minute it seems lately..Used some of my favourite colours and just added some die cuts to finish it off. Pretty simple but I love this colour combo..

Hey gang, I'm back once again to showcase a fabulous image from Redonkadoodles.

This is bar none my most favourite wedding couple yet.

I think I've coloured it up at least 4 times already. Let's take a look.

I coloured this one with promarkers and don't tell anyone but I made a huge mistake on the male...oops.. This couple is very laid back and their colours are greys, creams and black..

I did have to add just a touch of colour. You may think plaid is so not wedding material but their save the date cards had them dressed in camouflage sporting hunting guns with the caption, He took a shot and She said yes.... So I figured a little plaid might be ok.

I tried to match their font from that same card for the sentiment and the date. You can't see by this angle of my card but she has glitter all through her dress and accessories.

Added just a few die cuts, and a little bling and it's all done.

So I've coloured this one with promarkers and wasn't too happy with how the skirt turned out this time but that's how it went. I added some of my new flowers that are so so beautiful to finish this card off. Not too much else other than my sentiment and dry embossing on the bottom part of the card.

I'm going to have to get a move on for my Christmas cards..Hopefully I will have some done soon to show you all. Many thanks for taking a peak and hope to see you all soon.

Wow I seemed to have missed a day..i'm so sorry i'm late with this post but it is still technically Wednesday. Am I right?? Thankfully I already had this image coloured last week but just had to put her on a card. This is one of my new favourites. Such a fun image.

I coloured her with promarkers and the pinks are my copics...I added a few elements like the super cute ribbon, buttons and a couple die cuts. The sentiment was done using my Justwordz Party Time stamp set. I don't have anyone in mind for this card but I put the 30 on there just the same..one day i'm sure someone will turn 30 that I know..ha ha.

This one was coloured with promarkers and the pinks are copics. I wish I made the image just a tad bigger for this size card but I think it looks not too bad. I added some glitter pen to her wings and accessories and used a couple pink ribbons with a 36 Shades of Flair button. Very simple design but sweet all the same. Coloured this one with my promarkers as usual. Stayed with the cream and grey combo, somewhat traditional colours. As for the design of the card, I added just a couple die cuts and used

Justwordz Party Time stamp set for the sentiment. Super simple but the image stands out like it should.

Hey gang i'm here today to show off a fabulous image by: Simply Betty. Each month she has a facebook fan page challenge and after seeing this image there was no way I was not participating this time around. She has provided this image for us to play with and the only rule is you MUST complete it and submit..that's is. Let's have a look at how my card turned out.

Coloured with Promarkers and added a little flame to her dress instead of the normal black. Just brightened it up a bit. Added a couple embellishments which include a charm, and some fabulous flowers that I coloured to match. A touch of glitter to the edges of my flowers and that's it...I sure hope you like and come and join in on the fun in the months to come.

First Christmas Card so far..and a DT Submission

HO HO HO!!! no???

 

WOW...my first Christmas Card this year. I really hate thinking about the white stuff but it's bound to make it's way here before we know it. I'm going to have to get on the ball and get more made, I just send out so many and I also have to stock up my Christmas Craft Show pile. I'm so so behind.

 

I have to come up with some simple crafts that I can whip up fast so I have something

 to put on the table..ha ha. (not really funny)

Anyway I used this particular image as I wanted to try out as a Guest Designer for Mo Manning. Don't you think she has a wide variety of image for all occasions and they are just so cute. I just love this set of pixie elfs that I purchased a year or so ago. I know she has another set similar Little Elf Kit..a must have for sure. Come on Payday!!

I didn't go traditional on this one. My papers were in the pinks and turquoise so I followed suit with her outfit. Coloured with promarkers for the most part but used copics for the pinks. I did add a few embellishments to add a little interest. Washi tape, die cuts and a few flowers. A super simple card but the image says it all, and I placed her with her hanging from the string off to the side to give the illusion of movement. Not sure if I pulled it off but I worked hard to submit a nice balanced card. I hope I meet Mo Manning's standard as it would be a privilege to work with her for the next few months. Here's hoping I make the cut.

I just don't know where the time is going...the days are just passing by at a alarming rate. I was shocked into reality when I realized it was Tuesday and I needed a card made today for today's post. I tell you I moved fast and did a most simple design.. Nothing new there but it felt super simple with the layout of my designer papers. Let's have a look shall we?
