Good BAD and the UGGGGLYYYY!!! Can you Guess?

Hey everyone, i hope you all enjoyed the holiday. I had a great time visiting with my grand baby...18 months and her favorite word is NO!!!! so funny when she uses her words. Trying to keep a straight face is most difficult. I'm a little embarrassed to show you my very messy craft room. After the hustle and bustle of the holiday i have not had a chance to clean up. How does stuff get on the floor anyhow??? I was very spoiled this year, my hubby has purchased a new desk, new cabinets, new cubby for all my stuff. Soon I'll have a new look and everything will have a place. It's funny really, my hubby had a garage, two sheds, and the storage area in our home for all his stuff, and i have the smallest room in the house and somehow everything i own in crafts has to fit in here. I know I'll be sneaking some in the storage area as I've seem to have collected way to much... I emptied the room today and we have started painting...can you guess which color i went with???? It was hard to choose but i had my niece help me. The white unit will stay on the wall but all the shelving will be different. Hoping to be done painting early tomorrow so i can start to assemble my new pieces and get them in place. I haven't had time to craft for almost a week now and i'm getting the itch....Here are the before pics and i'll show you the after very soon....

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!

Hope everyone is enjoying time with family and friends this year. Here is my Christmas Card i made last year to send out. I thought i would share with you all as i didn't have any followers yet when i posted it..It was my first post. You totally can tell how my picture skills and card making have improved some what. Can you believe this picture was taken through my living room window in my front yard. All year round we get to see these wonderful animals. We have a crab apple tree out front and they stop to eat each night..This was early evening when i took the shot in the late fall...no snow but i added some stickles to the ground to make it more festive like for my cards. A car just passed by and they all had a look. I just thought is was a great shot as they were all lined up nice and facing the same way...for being in the city you wouldn't think we have this luxury of seeing wildlife in our very own front yards.

In short...I'm wishing you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAVE A FABULOUS

Just a small post showing you the other cards i sent out this year. I made a variety just to have some fun with new images....Have a look. All images were colored with promarkers and i kept the embellishing down to a minimum so there would be no worries going through the postal service. Included are a few gift card holders that i made for the first time. Super simple and will be great for my nieces and nephews that i purchased gift cards for...DID YOU NOTICE??

This month PASSION FOR PROMARKERS is hosting their very special Mega Christmas challenge which will last until January 3rd 2012. I’m sure you’ll agree that the design team deserve a little break to catch up on their last minute gifts and cards. However to make up for the lack of challenges we again have some magnificent prizes up for grabs.
Our theme for the Mega Christmas challenge is a nice easy one “celebrations”, so basically we want to see your creations for any type of celebration, including birthdays. However as time is precious for our DT at this time of year we are limiting the number of entries you can make to just 3 for this month long challenge. Please remember to be eligible for our prizes you must use your promarkers, flex markers, tria markers or aqua markers.
Here are a couple cards i created for this special occasion...One for Christmas and one just to celebrate the day...

Both these images were colored with promarkers, and the images came from Bug a Boo. Super cute if i do say so myself....Both cards are very simple in design as i'm always thinking they have to make it through the postal service. For my second card i used a little embossing and a die cut i have. Added a bow and a button. I don't usually use this color combo but i like how it turned out. This cutie was colored with promarkers, used my mft die cut for the snowflakes and that's my own crochet flower as well. Added just a little bling to give it some sparkle. Hey all, i hope you are all surviving the season of frantic shopping, tree decorating and holiday baking.. I had all my baking done but it seems my family has taken to eating most of it..I'll have to bake a couple new batches over the weekend and hide it. What we go through...eh?

I decided to color a Annie Rodrigue stamp today from her new set Alice in wonderland. Do you see Alice is hiding in the tea cup, how cute is that. Colored with promarkers, cut a heart out with MFT die cut and added some nice satin ribbon to tie the colors together. Used the sentiment that fits perfect with this image. Glad you could make it back again today. Today we are featuring Annie Rodrigue's fabulous images.... If you recall i participated in Kimmie's Krafty Day in London not too long ago and had the chance of meeting Annie. Watching her create these awesome images was so inspiring. Today i followed the sketch provided and this is what i came up with...

Oh i just loved coloring this one up ...promarkers was the medium used. I had a punch for the bottom boarder and added a little flower and say it with crystals, as embellishments. Sentiment was provided for me and the look of this girl just reminds me of my grand baby who is so ever curious. Hope you hop along and enjoy the rest of the talented Designers. Kim ME ME ME !!

Well what do you think of this image...So So beautifully wonderful. This image is new from Sheryl of REDONKULOUS. She has some fabulous Christmas images for this year. I love them all. I'll be showing them off in the next week or two. I just couldn't wait to color them up, i just have to get them on some cards. I colored her with promarkers and made a slight boo boo, but i always say, if you can't see it from a airplane, all is good:0) I'm getting a little crazy with the stickles on my Christmas cards and this one was no exception. I used JUSTWORDZ Christmas Season stamp set for the sentiment which i heat embossed. Don't tell anyone but i made the card and loved the way it looked and i totally forgot to add a sentiment using my own stamps...DUH...but thankfully it was a easy fix and i love how it added to the card. Thanks so much for dropping by and I'll see you in the new year, but i will be posting through out the holiday season, so I'll see ya then. Day 2 of KRAFTY PEEKS.

I just love this image. I did paper piecing to try something new and i realized a little late that i needed smaller print for the girl. I also should have inked the edges before i glued it down as well for a better look. It was a learning experience, and i'll only get better with time.:0)

Hey all, welcome to JUSTWORDZ. I'm showing you my Christmas cards for this year, i have made about 18 or so different ones. Design is simple with little embellishments as i don't want to spend a fortune on post. This image is from Sassy Cheryl's digi stamps that i colored up with promarkers. Used a snowflake spellbinder die and used the negative. No sentiment on this one. Added a little stickle for some shine and a couple pearls to finish it off.

Another Tag made with MFT dies...

Hey gang, glad you dropped by, i have another tag to share with you all and can you believe it...no image...I think this is long overdue. I have these fantastic die-namics from MFT and i just love how they cut. I stayed with white on white and added a little brown ink around the edges. Dry embossed the tag AFTER i stamped the sentiment with JUSTWORDZ Christmas Season set. Ribbon and crystals finish this one off...

December Guest Designer....

I get to be a GUEST DESIGNER for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, how exciting is that. This is my very first official guest spot. I'm crazy excited about it but man i felt under pressure to do my best. Here is a tag made with a Annie Rodrigue stamp, which was named Julie. You can find her here.

I colored her with promarkers and did some dry embossing on the kraft paper and on the larger heart. I used my favorite dies from My Favorite Things to add the hearts, flower and even the button. These cut so nice using my cuttlebug that i have a mile long list of which ones i want to purchase next. The sentiment also came with this adorable stamp. Added a little bling in the corner and finished it off with some trendy twine.
