Another week with PASSION FOR PROMARKERS.

Here is what i created this time around.

Oh i love this theme....i just had to have this Krista Smith image...(yes of course)....Don't cha just love the belly button poking out...I have two baby showers to go to in the near future and thought this was a great card to give the mom to be....what do you think???? She was coloured with Promarkers, used a little cork with my new MFT die cuts and some cute ice cream paper. The sentiment was a freebie from last year around this time and my files show sp_monsterfreebie...I'm so sorry i can't leave the proper link but if anyone can remember where this cute phrase came from please let me know and I'll add the link...I'm not too crazy how the skirt turned out but it is what it is.....

Isn't this just the most lovely image...I love colouring these images from REDONKULOUS designs. I cropped her to take advantage of her most darling face. Coloured with promarkers, used a doily and mft die cuts for the hearts and flowers. JUSTWORDZ Christmas Season and Party Time was used for the sentiment.

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS....Recycle

WELCOME to PASSION FOR PROMARKERS challenge. This week i had the pleasure of picking out the challenge and my choice was to recycle. I had something in mind to use which was given to me by a fellow scrapbooker. These are tin lids from coffee containers. They emboss fabulously and are easy to punch out. Check out what i was able to create and please join us for this weeks challenge. Don’t forget to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Letraset products (promarkers, flex markers, aqua markers or tria markers) and follow this week’s theme. That's it, easy peasy eh??? I can't wait to see what you have all created...

For this card i used another Krista Smith image and coloured her with promarkers. I embossed my coffee tin lid with a Christmas candy folder and cut in half. I also used a die for the number, as well as the stamp in the corner and punched out some stars as well. Used my crop-a dile to attach some eyelets and used JUSTWORDZ Party Time stamp set for the sentiment. Added a little ribbon and voila, this one is done...

Well i couldn't resist another Krista Smith image. Super sweet and i went traditional with my colors for this valentines card. Coloured with promarkers, used a couple die cuts and embossing folders. Inked the edges, added some ribbon and metallic hearts. Used JUSTWORDZ Christmas Season stamp set. I just love the font on this set and i was able to come up with a great sentiment. Added a some stickles inside the heart to add some glitter which finishes this card.

Craft Sale items...

Hey gang, thanks for dropping by. I thought i would share with you all what i made for my craft sales this year. These are candles and aroma beads in the same scent. I also make car air fresheners as well that match but i didn't have any left for picture taking. I made about 20 or so different fragrances but my top sellers were cream brule, cranberry spice, vanilla, ocean, and margarita. Oh my, the days are just flying by. I didn't get my card done until the last minute. WHEW, it's hard getting back to the swing of things. The holidays wiped me out. Any hoo, we are here today to showcase two sets of JUSTWORDZ stamps...Party Time and Christmas Season. Let's have a look and see what everyone's been up to...Me first

Oops, i used the wrong your....that's what i get when i'm creating at 11pm. Why is there no spell check when crafting anyway? I'll fix it up tomorrow. This is a stamp that i purchased in London when i went to Kimmie Kraftin Stamps Kraft day...that's a mouth full eh??? I have colored her with promarkers, used a couple die cuts and the digital paper is from RODONKULOUS designs. I just love the shade of pink she used in this kit...Speaking of Redonkulous, my niece Sheryl is expecting her second baby and is having a rough start...why is it doctors can't find the cure for the sickies in early pregnancy...It's all worth it at the end though. Wishing you the best Sheryl...Added a little twine, button and used JUSTWORDZ Party Time for the sentiment. A simple card but I'm happy with the way it turned out.

Saturated Canary DT call!!!

Hey all, i just had to apply for this DT position. As you have seen over the past few months my cards all have a theme...Krista Smiths beautiful images. You can check out her images HERE. They have become an addiction and I just love her style and can't stop coloring them up. I'm just so proud how this one turned out. It's the first time I've done colored hair. I've been so scared of trying it. I love this combo that created a super cool purple. My niece suggested i colour her cloths goth like...What do i know about goth anyway I'm 46 for heavens sake....So i tried my best and black and browns made it on the paper. I embossed the paper, added some chain which i found out is the most difficult to glue down...if i only knew.. Used my new die sets from die-namics for the stars and scallop. Added a charm, a little glitter on her earrings and used JUSTWORDZ Party Time stamp set to finish it off. I have a whole new set of her images that you will be seeing soon. And to top it off she is having a new release very soon....YEAH!!! i can't wait..

Hey all this weeks theme is to be inspired by a song...and i have to say when i saw this image from Krista Smith it just reminded me of watching my girl play ring around the rosie..holding her dress out and skipping around the circle. Do you all agree??

Like i said a Krista Smith image that i purchased with a gift card my daughter got me for Christmas. So this one is NEW to me...isn't she darling??? Colored with promarkers. I finally had the nerve to add some dots around her in the same colors i used to color..I like how it turned out. I've seen other bloggers do this and have admired the look. Embossed my background paper and inked it up some. Ribbon and some flowers i happened to have that matched, finished this one off...I didn't use a sentiment as i can use this one for a variety of things...

First try at some decorated COOKIES!!!

Well everyone what do you think of my first try at decorating cookies...I had fun but realized i have a lot of learning to do...A little sloppy yes, but this is a dry run. I will be making some onesies for my daughter who is hosting a baby shower...Of course i volunteered to make them. I don't know what i was thinking when i did that but i just can't help myself...I found this site http://sweetopia.net/ that has the most amazing cookies...i just had to try. I used both her cookie recipe and her royal icing recipe... Sweetopia has the most informative videos on how to .....THANK GOODNESS...very very helpful.
Now on to the issues i faced this time around. When making the cookies the instructions say to roll out between two pieces of parchment paper...which i did but the parchment was sliding all over on me...then on to the icing..i tried to get the right consistency but it dries fast and it still was a little thick..I'll have to fix that next time..I do need some practice on piping but other than all that i still managed to get them done...and what's even better is everyone liked them.

Here is a image from REDONKULOUS designs. I just love this one, so lovely. Redonkulous also offers this one precolored. And for a extra special moment, my niece Sheryl who creates these wonderful images is expecting her second baby in Aug....i hope you don't mind me sharing that fact Sheryl....ohh i can't wait to see the new one. If you would like to wish her well go HERE. Now on to the details...colored with promarkers, used some die cuts to frame this beauty and added the hearts in some coordinating paper. Ribbon, lace and a little bling added to this card. I used JUSTWORDZ Party Time stamp set to finish it off...I did ink the edges and loved how this one turned out...

Welcome to another Passion For Promarkers day. I'm so excited to start my term with some very talented ladies. As you all know i just love my promarkers and what better way to show them off than coloring up a picture to share with you all. This image can be found at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. One of her new releases in December...Super cute..NO??? The theme for this weeks challenge is THANK YOU and we sure have many thanks to give with all the love, gift giving, and special moments shared over the past couple weeks. I just managed to get enough stuff back into my craft room to get this one done. Pics will be coming soon of my new space. I've just got a couple more things to organize...So here is my card that i want to send to someone special.

MFT paper piecing...

Welcome all....I'm glad you popped over. I am finally getting back to my old routine of creating. My craft room has been torn apart for almost a week now but I'm so excited to share with you my new space...I just love it..mind you, all i have to do now is remember where i put everything..i tend to open drawers constantly to find things...labels are next on my list of must dos...Any hoo, here is a super cute image by Sweet November Stamps that i won some time ago and finally inked her up...Do you think I'm ready for the warm weather to come:0)

I paper pieced this one to enter the My Favorite Things Guest Designer spot next month...I just love the die cuts i currently own and please don't tell hubby but i just placed a order on boxing day for a variety of others that i can't wait to try...like the letters and numbers and even though Christmas is over i fell in love with the ornament and stamp set combined....oh oh oh I'm crazy excited to try them...they are the most reasonable prices too. Go have a look HERE, and you will fall in love with them all, i have a wish list for more but i just had to contain myself...ha ha..
