Birthday Card...

 

Hey all, I'm back to show you another card I've made for a co-worker. I offered to make this for him as he was headed for China for his mom's 90th birthday. I just wanted him to have a nice card for his mom..Now i know this image is more Japanese but it was the only one i had that would somehow fit. I did manage to get Happy Birthday in his language for the inside of the card. His mom is the year of the Pig so i had this great wheel image i picked up and made sure the pig was showing..

 

This was coloured with Promarkers and i just added some ribbon, brads and a die cut for the age. Super simple design as usual. I'm so sorry but both these images were freebies and i just can't find the links. I apologize to you and the ones who offered them.
UPDATE!! Image was from A Day for Daisies, no longer a freebie...Thanks to Mette..she remembered where it came from.

Hey everyone..I'm hear again to show you another Redonkulous Design image...well half an image anyway...ha ha. I just love this I Heart Dolphin image.

Yes there is a male with a super fab heart that is the full image but i just had to fancy cut this cutie girl dolphin for a 7th birthday. Coloured with promarkers and the pinks are my copics. Added some fun die cuts a little glitter on the dolphin, bling and a strip of ribbon. I have to say this image was so fast and easy to colour. A must have for those quick girl cards. All girls are just in love with dolphins..i know i was and still am. Krafty Krop with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

Krafty Krop Challenge #1 Bling it on

Hey all, I've decided to enter this card i made into one of Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps weekend Krafty Krop Day happening on facebook today, bling it on..and add a flower..now i did make a flair button using the background paper, which is a flower..i hope that counts and added a little bling too.

 

 

This fabulous image is Best Friends from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps that i received during Kimmies Kraft Day in London. Oh how i wish i was able to go this year...I coloured it up with promarkers and just used the sentiment that came with the stamp and added a few die cuts to finish it off..this card went out to someone very special..i just couldn't have asked for a nicer person to help me figure out some things I'm working on...It just amazes me how crafter's are willing to share with no benefit to themselves..they are just so giving..

Commission Card...A little Sweetness Added..

Hey Everyone..just a quick post showing you one of my commission cards i did not to long ago. This little girl is turning 9 and loves animals. I thought this image from Saturated Canary fit the bill.

This super sweet image is by Krista Smith and you can find her HERE. I changed this up a bit by colouring with promarkers and the pinks are copics...I loved how this one turned out and i just used some matching papers to add a little colour in the background. Do you think i've added enough sweetness? I also have a colouring tutorial for this one that you can watch HERE if you are interested. I show you how to colour from start to finish. You will need a large cup of java to get you through it as i'm just not a super fast colourer...Thanks for popping by and will see you soon..

Redonkulous Day!!

WHEW..i made it...it's now 1am and i managed to get this one done in time..I seemed to have lost a day with the Easter holiday. My daughter, husband and my sweet Grand baby came for a nice visit. It didn't give me any time for crafting so i rushed this one out tonight. Or should i say Morning now.

This image is called Trendy Teen Boy and can be found HERE. Coloured with promarkers, and just added a little embellishment. Another simple card. I did however video tape this one being coloured and will try and have it up and running on the weekend.

I'm showcasing one of my favorites from Sheryl. It's one of her first drawings and is perfect for cute baby cards...both girls and boys..somehow i always end up doing pink...i wonder why???

Bugaboo...Let's make a Bobble Head...

Bugaboo Tutorial

Hey all...Welcome to my short tutorial on how to make a Bobble Head with a regular BUGABOO Image. You can find super cute Bobble head images at Bugaboo that takes all the guess work out of measuring...But i wanted to show you how to create one with just any image they carry.

I have had such fun with this type of card..So easy to do and so much fun.

 

Let me show you how i create a Bobble Head

 

Now i ended up putting this on a standard size A2 Card so i printed the full image 7.4cm x 6.0 cm.

Then i cropped another image as you only need the head at 7.5cm x 6.0cm. It's hard to tell by the measurements but as long as the top head is bigger than the bottom and you can fit your Bobble behind it you are good to go.

 

 Then i coloured this cute POLKAB side sit Bugaboo image in my favorite bunny colours. You can find her HERE.

Cut them out, and as you can see i ended up cutting the ears off the smaller one as when i placed the larger head on top they were poking out too much for my liking.

 

 

Get all your card papers, embellishments and sentiment together.

 

Glue down everything but the larger head at this point..

 

 

Peel the paper off the top pad of your wobble and place at the back of the head...You can trim this down a bit if needed.

 

 

 You are now ready to peel the base pad paper off.

 

 

Place just above the neck on top of smaller head of bunny...there you have it super simple, easy and such fun..you can watch the movement below...HAPPY EASTER everyone!!
