What fun i had today...i participated in Kraftin Kimmie Stamp Day. Exciting things were happening there. I got pictures to come tomorrow. What we did, what i won, what i bought...pssssssttt, don't tell the hubby...how could i not get some amazing stamps and some great deals. We also got some freebies..I touched my first copic today, and i have to say i like them. I do get a little ink on my hands which I've never experienced with the promarkers but other than that, they have so many colors and they blend great. They also blend nice with my promarkers so i did purchase a few in colors that I'm missing in the PM line. Make and takes were fabulous, and i managed to get two scrapbook pages done, the day just flew by. And of course i was the last one standing. I brought the whole house and only needed to bring a few things as the make and takes plus a challenge keep me busy for most of the day. Learned many new things, saw some fantastic artwork, overall the day was fantastic...HEY KIM can we do it again tomorrow???? Thanks to you and your team, i had a fabulous day. I'm ready for next year.

Kim....Me again



Just a simple card this time around...I've had horrible jaw joint pain this past week after some dental work. I can't believe how much pain could bother me..I'm usually tolerant but for some reason this is killing me...went back to the dentist and got some anti- inflamitories...whew...thank goodness. Any hoo...For this card, i borrowed a cuttlebug folder, which i happen to love, used a die cut for the butterfly and punches for the sentiment. Again i used two stamps to get the word thankful, and it was so easy to do, lined up perfect. Justwordz everyday sentiments were used to create this one. To finish it off i used some stickles, and i even waited for it to dry before handling, i usually touch too soon and muck it up..i used a little too much on the butterfly's but other than that i like how it turned out.

Flashback Friday....

Yes you have seen this before, I'm dragging it out for Flashback Friday Challenge..We are to show our first tag....Well here it is...I'm not sure if it meets the standard but i am happy with how it turned out. It might be a little big but the image wouldn't have fit otherwise. This sweet image is a Sugar Nellie stamp that i won during a blog hop....I was super excited to color her as i love Simpy Sassy stamps. Colored with promarkers, flowers and button were made with my new diecuts and used a little trendy twine that i just love. Sentiment was from JUSTWORDZ everyday sentiment stamp set.

Hey Gang, i hope you all had a fantastic weekend. I sure did, visiting with my grand baby...soooo much fun. She's 15 months old and loves to check out everything, she even slept in my craft room...YIKES!!!! i had everything in reach moved on the floor at the opposite end of the room...and it's tiny too, what a mess. I miss her already....boo hoo...

On to my card, this was another commission card for a co-worker and she was named after her cousin and it turned out she was born on the same day as her too...So with the help of Marlene of http://disguisedasagrownup.blogspot.com/...she came up with the perfect sentiment for me...i couldn't come up with a single thing other than a mushy one...this was soooo much better. Thanks Marlene...you rock. My co-worker loved it so. Papers again were from http://www.sherykdesigns.com/shop/brown-pink/ for a great deal of 1.50... Image was from http://digidarla.com/ and worked perfect with this sentiment. Had a great time coloring this one and putting it together...

Hey Gang, welcome to my blog space. Happy Thanksgiving for all those Canadians who are celebrating. You just can't beat spending time with family and having a feast of turkey, ham and meat pie...yummmmmy...with a little desert thrown in....well who am i kidding A LOT of desert:0)

This card was another i made for a co-worker, man oh man she's keeping me busy...i just love this design paper i got from http://www.sherykdesigns.com/shop/vintage-blue-damask/ . Again another great deal. 1.5o for the 10 designs. This paper prints out so rich...great for male and female cards...And it's so easy to use multiple prints, they go so well together. Image is from bugaboo, and colored with promarkers. I added a little Canadian flavour to the front and the inside Sentiment was another favorite of mine from http://disguisedasagrownup.blogspot.com was free..I enjoyed making this one.

My card was very simple to put together....used some scrap K & Company design paper added a large flower with a little ribbon and some faux stitching. Added my JUSTWORDZ sentiment to the inside. I love how all these colors go together...Thanks so much for dropping by.

SIDE NOTE!!!

Manufacture made an error with my new release stamps. I had to return them and i should be receiving the new ones on Tuesday... SOOOOOOO lucky you. You can still take advantage of the great sale price using the coupon code found on the stamp page. They had made the stamps in a thinner material and i just wanted the thicker ones for a more lasting set. I wouldn't settle for less. So sorry for the delay, for those who pre-purchased already. KRAFTIN KIMMIE STAMPS.....YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
