Kimmie's Day's Events and PIC'S

WOOT WOOT WOOT......400 FOLLOWERS...HOW FANTASTIC...THANK YOU, THANK YOU THANK YOU...YOU ALL MAKE MY DAY EACH AND EVERY DAY.

Now on to my fantastic day in London, Ontario yesterday. I just got home at 5pm today after a little stop at a apple orchard and of course Costco...3 Christmas presents bought..yeah, first ones of the year for me.

Picture of me and Kim, man oh man i look brutal. All that tooth pain is taking it's tole, the dentist better get me in tomorrow as I've never felt pain like this before. His medication is NOT working...BUT i still had a fabulous time with Kim and her DT gang. Kim was super fun and had many surprises for us. We all got some awesome swag (goodies), a chance to win some original art from Annie Rodrigue that she created right on the spot, and some great card creations from her team...all proceeds from the raffle went to charity. Well i didn't win any of that, but i won something so super crazy i still can't stop thinking about it...WAY WAY COOL!. I'll let Kim share that with you all.

Here is me and Melanie...super fabulous girl and so sharing of all her wonderful talents. I noticed her at tables giving tips to any who asked, what an amazing girl. Check her blog, her coloring is out of this world....http://paperblessingsbymelanie.blogspot.com/
I wish i had more pictures but Kim's team keep us so busy i didn't have much time to mingle and chat to other crafters or to pick Kim's girls brains of all their creative talents. I was so focused on the projects and i have learned I'm not the fastest colorer...don't figure. So a big shout out to all the other ladies there helping with the make and takes and being there for any questions we might have had. All the projects are fantastic and i love them all.

Here is the first make and take we had, what a fabulous tag. This was my first time touching a copic marker. I colored all these make and takes with them. It is a bit of a learning curve from using promarkers but i managed fine. Super cute.

Make and Take #2.

Have you ever colored on Kraft paper...not me. Loved how this image turned out. The paper soaks up the ink and you get your true colors when it's dry but love the outcome. And isn't this the greatest image ever???

Make and Take #3

My favorite i think. Great for gift cards for the Christmas season, I'll be making more of these as i have some nieces and nephews to give movie passes too. This was also my first paper piecing project I've ever done. Great technique, if you didn't see it's the wrapped package. The ribbon was colored and we added the printed paper for the gift. Open it up and you have a pocket for the gift card and a place to write your message.. This image did take a while to color, but well worth it.

Make and Take #4

A simple but very elegant card. We had some wonderful help from a DT's daughter, sorry i missed your name, but i was one focused and just wanted to complete all the make and takes. So thank you, you were the bomb. You made it so simple and easy to put this one together.

OK Check out the SWAG!!!

Fantastic goodie bag. Great stamps from Kimmie, which i colored while i was there and some great embellishments, magazine, tote bag, candy, stickles, glue dots, and twine..super nice to get a surprise bag of goodies, I'll take that any time eh???

OK OK, yes i spent money..But really there was no need but all these items were 30 percent off, there is no where i can get these items at these great prices near me. I also got some neenah paper as well which i forgot to pop in the frame. Remember don't tell the hubby....I just had to get a T-Shirt to remember the day, and some of Kimmies stamps.

WHEW!!! What a day, can we do it again????

All you bloggers out there should try and make it next year, super fun day, fantastic people and great fun for all...THANK YOU KIM!!!

400 followers and I am sure that number will go up!
Looks like your day was so much fun. Loved all the projects. I am just starting with colouring and so I wish I was there to learn. Or maybe you had to have some idea of what to do.
Hope your tooth gets fixed very quickly and you are not in pain any longer.

Sounds like you had a great time with Kim and her DT. Congrats on reaching your 400 milestone too! That's wonderful! The project you made at the event is awesome! And it doesn't matter how fast you color... what matters is the outcome. And your work is always gorgeous!
