Hey All...another day with Redonkulous Designs....I managed to get this one done for my hubby this Valentines day...Sheryl from Redonkulous is getting a little frisky eh???

GREAT NEWS....my daughter had her doctor's appointment yesterday and she is

CLEAR...they got it all...no more treatments..just check ups every 3 months for the next 3 yrs...

YIPEE!!!!! how super relieved i am. She is still sore but recovering slow but sure..I just know all your kind words and prayers made it happen...

Simply Betty January Facebook challenge...

Hey gang...finally i've had a moment to post this fabulous image that was a freebie for those who are entering the January Facebook Challenge. What a fabulous steampunk image. I had a little trouble with this one as i don't even know what steampunk is and i just winged it..i figured for what i see in blogland the gears, clocks with a little lace would do the trick...

 

For those who have sent well wishes for my daughter...THANK YOU...She is moving around a bit more..still quite sore in the 5 small incisions where they did the work by robot..i can only imagine the bruising she has...troubles in the bathroom area as well and her stomach is very extended...hoping things can only get better from here...

Update...New Adventure...

Something New...

 

Hey gang..just popping in to give you all a quick update...Carlie is doing well...slow moving but moving none the less. Many thanks for all the well wishes, i truly appreciate all the prayers and hugs you sent our way. Doctors think they got all the cancer but we won't know until the official results come back from pathology. So we are hoping for the best..oh and she just loved her card...she didn't even realize that cervical cancer had it's own ribbon colour...

 

On another note...i have absolutely no markers, papers, or a printer to create any cards but i did bring a small block of polymer clay. Today a had a little time while my granddaughter was having her nap and i managed to create a practice face. I'm hoping to create some cute fairies in the near future. I have a long way to go but this was my first try. As you know i've done a couple babies before but i'm looking to have a more doll like face than a baby face...not that i mastered the babies..far from it but i always wanted to do fairies...i'm hoping to have a few done for this Christmas seasons craft sales and to start my granddaughter with a collection..Only if i'm happy with them of course...i'm really hard on myself and they have to be perfect..so i'm just practicing for now..I thought i would show you what came about today...a little creepy but what can i say...No ears, and the eyes are a little crooked but have a look...

 

 

 

 

 

I think her proportions turned out ok..but would like a more delicate nose in the future and i have to master the eyes....What do you all think???

CANDI time!!!

 

Hey all, it's Kim from Justwordz sharing with you today a little more Craftwork Cards CANDI..i have such fun with these little embellishments. On a sad note this will be my last project as a DT member for Craftwork Cards. My daughter is in need of my help through her recovery after surgery. Thank you so much for your understanding Craftwork Cards as i wasn't able to finish my commitment for you. I will for sure keep using these little gems and make sure i leave links for where everyone can find them. Let's have a look at what i managed to make...



 

 

 

Oh once i saw this image i totally had to size it right for my little coffee beans to fit. I love how there is three shades in this package. Makes for some great variety on my image. I coloured the cups with promarkers and just glued my CANDI on all the dots. Added a little embellishment and there it is..super fun and perfect to add a gift card inside to their favourite coffee shop.

Hey all...welcome to another week with Passion for Promarkers. Sadly this is my last post as a DT member for PFP. I will be with my daughter during her recovery from cervical cancer. Many many thanks for all you wonderful loyal followers who posted comments during my year plus time with Passion for Promarkers. I had such a wonderful time and got to see some amazing projects along the way. My card is sending you all great big hugs for all the love you gave me throughout the yr...

Super cute image: Oscar and Umbrella that was provided by Digi Stamp Boutique. How adorable is this...coloured with promarkers of course. Added a couple cloud dies, ribbon and a sentiment and there you go...Another very simple card..

Sad NEWS....

Hey Everyone, I've got some sad news to share with you all..

My Daughter has been diagnosed with Cervical Cancer just before Christmas. She was to get surgery on Feb. 4 of this year but the doctors were concerned with the type it is. I'm not very good with names and such but glandular came up and apparently it's aggressive so they moved her surgery to MONDAY..I'm crazy worried but she is in good care and with lots of luck they can get it all..She may need radiation as well but we won't know until after the surgery.

 

So without this going on and on as i get so emotional, it saddens me that i had to step down from all my DT positions at this time so i can go to Ottawa to help her in her recovery and any further treatments she may need. I just want to thank you all for being so understanding...I do have some cards made in advance that i may be posting here and there during this time. Please send a little prayer up above for her...

This is a card i made today to bring to her. The colour of ribbon for Cervical Cancer is turquoise and white..i picked a Kenny K image this time around..Never in a million years did i think i would be making this type of card for my own Daughter...how crazy, the young getting hit with this disease.

 

 

 

 

 

Coloured with promarkers...She is ready to fight...and i'm going to be with her to help...
